What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Integration Manager position at Clair?
The Partner Integration Manager is a key member of our Integrations team at Clair. This role has responsibility for driving and communicating with internal and external partners through the implementation process of Clair‘s On-Demand Pay product.
This will be a partner-facing, project management role in which you will work closely with partners to facilitate scalable solutions to help millions of Americans find financial freedom. You will work with our customer success, engineering, product, and other teams to launch, grow, and support technical solutions that contribute to Clair‘s strategic mission.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the Clair Integrations team, providing guidance and support during the implementation of Clair’s product solutions within partner systems.
- Engage in clear dialogue with internal and external clients to customize the Integration implementation ensuring the solution aligns with client business needs.
- Hold high-level technical discussions on topics like OAuth setup, API, data transformations, data workflows, and process creation with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Train, coach, and collaborate with others within the organization (namely Sales, Client Support, QA Engineering, and Product Management departments).
- Communicate partner feedback and growth opportunities to Clair’s product and engineering teams.
- Oversee the API schema; coordinate with technical teams for development
- Ensure clear communication of projects’ statuses, informing management of any issues or risks to the projects or their timelines
- Perform a wide variety of professional tasks, which demand a high level of creativity and imagination, as well as a thorough knowledge of the applicable needs and expectations of
- Create technical “how-to” documents when necessary.
- Oversee a growing team of integration specialists, overseeing the day to day work of the team.
- The ability to become the organizational subject matter expert regarding all aspects of current and future integrations at Clair
Qualification:
- BA/BS degree strongly preferred
- 5 years of development or technical project management in a fast paced environment, which can often be ambiguous and reactive to partner requests, needs, or limitations
- Experience managing and scaling a growing technical consultant team
- Strong knowledge of API’s and service integrations
- Comfort with web development languages, frameworks, and architecture
- Customer service experience and skills; the ability to be accurate, empathetic, and helpful in communicating with clients
- Knowledge of SQL queries to diagnose issues and get quick insights
- High capacity to learn and understand technical infrastructure and troubleshooting processes
- Understanding of a variety of project management methodologies - waterfall, scrum, kanban, xp
- Must be a problem solver. Ability to research, analyze and provide a solution to newly identified issues
- Team focused with strong collaboration and communication skills and an effective facilitator
- Emphasis on attention to detail and quality
- Ability to influence cross team and external partner initiatives
- Knowledge of Jira or other agile management tools
