Craft Brand Manager
The Craft Import Brand Manager’s main priority is to ensure retail execution excellence of assigned supplier’s products. They are the conduit for the suppliers to Euclid Beverage. Key responsibilities include regular Planning and Review meetings with suppliers; goal setting with the sales management team to achieve agreed-upon distribution and volume goals; managing supplier marketing budget for POS, incentives, etc; regular updates to the sales team on progress versus goals, new products, chain activity, etc.
The Craft Import Brand Manager will be the key owner of Euclid Beverage’s execution of the assigned supplier’s portfolio.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE THE ACHIEVEMENT OF KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES
Drive execution in Euclid Beverage trade area to maximize availability and visibility of assigned portfolio to ensure retail execution excellence and that performance objectives are met.
Strategic Business Planning
Ensure effective annual business plans are developed achieving supplier alignment with Euclid Beverage's business objectives.
In-store execution targets, distribution, and volume goals are aligned with sale management team priorities on an annual basis.
Margin and marketing commitments are agreed to and aligned with Euclid Beverage's business objectives.
Regular updates to Sales managers
Analysis of Execution
Define and sustain measurement systems to monitor performance.
Continuously track performance against defined business metrics and in-outlet execution standards.
Review and analyze performance and make recommendations for improvement to the sales management team.
Regular updates to the Sales team on actuals versus goal
Benchmark during market visits against standards, and identify/implement system best practices.
Conduit for Supplier interaction.
Maintain an effective stewardship routine of Supplier interaction.
Monthly or Quarterly Planning and Review meetings with Suppliers
Course correction communication to the Sales management team
Gatekeeper of Supplier interaction with Euclid Beverage.
Manage Supplier interaction with Sales Team meetings through Sales Managers
Regular field time with suppliers
Facilitate supplier interaction with District Managers to schedule supplier ride with or accounts visits with Sales Supervisors.
Inventory
Monthly interaction with the Forecasting team, Sales Manager, and General Manager on inventory needs, current product rate of sale, monitoring close-to-code issues, etc.
Facilitate for New SKU form submissions from suppliers.
Responsible for sales forecasts to the Inventory / Forecasting team as well as regular updates to the plan.
POS
Work with Merchandising Manager, sales management team, and suppliers to forecast POS needs.
Communicate POS execution expectations to the sales management team
Regularly monitor POS execution in the market.
Track Marketing commitment spends by Supplier
Monitor POS availability to the sales team.
Communicates regularly and works effectively with the sales management, operations, HR & IT as well as finance teams.
Fosters and maintains relationships with all departments and functions to leverage input and more effectively implement key initiatives.
Continuous evaluation of all processes and tools with recommendations for improvement.
KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES (WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE)
Achievement of the annual business plan, volume, distribution, revenue, and profit goals.
Best in Class achievement of supplier incentives.
Flawless launch of new items, in line with the supplier and Euclid Beverage expectations.
Non Saleable beer at .05% of Gross Sales on an ongoing basis.
On or under budget for POS/marketing commitments by the supplier.
Ensure 100% compliance with legal and supplier standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
4 to 5 years of Distributor experience with a strong track record of success
Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Encompass, Excel)
Leadership capabilities to motivate a team indirectly.
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Strong negotiation skills
Innovative, solution-oriented mindset
In-depth knowledge of the Beer and DSD industry
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
University – Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Salary : $62,200 - $78,700
