Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in providing services to school districts across Illinois. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in assessing, developing, and implementing behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students' educational and social outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes and functions of challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.
- Provide direct and indirect support to students, including one-on-one interventions and group sessions.
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents in the implementation of behavior strategies and interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and school psychologists, to support comprehensive student development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, progress reports, and other required records.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Valid Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, particularly those with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in ABA.
