Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Supply Chain Temp based in Orangeburg, NY.

The role: 

You will take care of the Supply Chain task for the catalogue assigned per your Senior Manager Supply Chain.  Working closely with the warehouse reviewing and posting inventory adjustments and discrepancies, you will follow up with NYO/3PL customers for missing or incorrect information needed by the warehouse.  You will ensure all appropriate materials, supplies and finished goods are replenished on time with the least amount of cost and on-hand inventory while maintaining high service levels and inventory accuracy.   Last but not least, the Supply Chain Temp, as a point of contact for PMD, will help the Product Master Data in its mission at the subsidiary level elevate local recommendation, coordinate local items creation, and relay direction provided per Regional PMD to the country.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze the inventory behavior and statistics 
• Write inventory reports, resolves discrepancies with technicians and performs and tracks inventory adjustments.
• Perform regular inventory counts together with the warehouse team and verify the numbers against WMS system.

• Supports the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
• Supports proper utilization of ERP system.

You have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
• Experience in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, program formulas, data analysis tool pack, etc.)
• Excellent soft skills: demonstrating sympathy to technical issues and system challenges
