A day in the life.
As our National Marketing Specialist on the National Marketing Strategy Team, you'll support and execute business development and marketing initiatives to raise the profile of the Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) brand.
You'll also serve as a strategic partner to our business line and growth marketers in the development, execution, and administration of marketing programs and projects, with and without direct supervision.
Your specific responsibilities would include :
- Supporting team initiatives : You'll conduct research, coordinate efforts, and assist the team in developing tailored strategies, approaches, and materials to help us grow our business.
- Strategizing and supporting the launch of national products and solutions : You will oversee the creation of campaign assets, working with different teams and project managers to coordinate and complete materials that will make our launches successful.
- Assisting with business line marketing efforts : You will provide marketing support to specific practice groups and business line managers, collaborating with thought leaders to plan content and enhance our business development and marketing efforts and to drive regional awareness and engagement.
- Assisting with cross-selling and upselling strategy : You'll contribute to initiatives aimed at increasing customer lifetime value and revenue through targeted marketing campaigns and personalized messaging.
- Performing special projects as assigned : You are always ready to tackle unique projects and contribute to the success of our team.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills :
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of writing samples to demonstrate ability.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities to handle tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and the ability to find creative solutions.
Experience working within an executive team.
- Establish and cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders, building strong connections with important individuals in our business to create an environment that fosters shared objectives.
- Knowledge of core marketing principles including internal communications, external communications, branding, social media, channel strategy, and audience development.
- Planning and monitoring omnichannel experiences across various channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, events, email, and direct mail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply :
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business or related area preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably working with an industry-based audience and products / solutions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role within the Employee Health Benefits industry
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic understanding of Agency Management and CRM tools.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $68,000 to $102,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
