What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reg Rep-Clark Peds position at Clark Memorial Hospital?
The Registration Representative/Receptionist serves as the liaison between the care provider and patient. In this role, you will greet all visitors in a friendly, professional manner. You will process patients for appointments by gathering, reviewing, and updating demographic and insurance information to facilitate flow into the practice. You will collect monies, run daily reports, and perform end-of-day closing. You will assist with telephone volume, schedule referral appointments and process/communicate test results. Preparation of new patient packets, maintaining office and print supplies, and other miscellaneous tasks may be assigned. Ability to prioritize, while being meticulous in this vital role as a first point of contact to the public.
