Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain fire extinguishers.
o Recharge and test portable fire extinguishers.
Inspect and maintain fire suppression systems.
o Wet chemical and dry chemical.
Inspect and repair emergency lighting.
Education and Experience: (Certifications, degrees, years of experience, etc.)
High school diploma or GED.
Job Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Must be willing to work occasional nights and participate in Clark Fire Protection's on-call
rotation.
NFPA-10, 17, 17a and 96 certification, interest and drive to complete additional certifications.
Must possess strong customer relations skills.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
All technicians are subject to annual background checks, clearances, and certifications.
Drug tests are administered before and periodically during employment.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work in extreme conditions (i.e.: hot, cold, dirty environment).
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel.
Must be able to work on ladders.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
