Operational Control Specialist

Providing operational support to the Hanover Center (including Support teams) through the monitoring of system related issues, Material Handling Equipment functionality and Knapp control systems.  Also, monitor the HC order pool (i.e., Health Checks) to ensure timely release and processing, maintaining customer Service Level Agreement requirements. 

Accountabilities:

• Monitor the order pool including resolving errors/failures to ensure the release of customer orders for operational processing.
• Monitor the performance of the HC systems and equipment.
• Liaise with the Operational Team regarding opportunities and issues.
• Liaise with onsite Maintenance Team regarding planned and reactive maintenance.
• Liaise with and provide information to the IT team to resolve issues occurring within the HC including KiSoft issues.
• Maintain logs of HC issues.
• Report critical issues effectively to ensure accurate and rapid resolution.
• Cross-training in other functional areas as assigned
• Continually evaluate existing processes for potential improvement

Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• HC process flows
• Warehouse Management System knowledge
• Warehouse Control System knowledge
• Mechanical Knowledge
• 3-5 years logistics experience
• Knowledge of logistics operations
• Experience with PLC Controls, crane technology, robotic shuttle technology
• Experience working in a highly customer focused organization.
• Proficiency in MS office package
• Knowledge of Ki-Soft & Assyst systems
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
