Description

This position provides Employment services for Veteran households, supporting the development and
achievement of individual housing stability plans. Ensures service delivery through adherence to
Department of Labor and agency requirements. This role will support other ESS’s across an 8-county
geographic footprint 5 in Massachusetts and 3 in New Hampshire and meets with Veterans and
employers in the office and in the field.
Key Responsibilities: to include but are not limited to.

Reports directly to the Program Manager and his/her designee. And reports day-to-day
activities, significant events, or anything that may impact the Veteran.
Operates under adherence to Department of Labor and agency policies and requirements.
Consults regularly with Veteran applicants to assess needs and determine program eligibility,
ensuring that clients obtain needed supportive services.
Provides Case Management with a focus on employment and job readiness.
Works with clients to provide individual employment development plans, and track progress
towards attainment.
Provides ongoing support and expertise through assessment, planning, implementation, and
overall evaluation of the Veteran's needs as drawn from his/her goal/action plans.
Obtains information contributing to the clients situation and evaluating these, along with the
clients abilities and skills.

Collaborates weekly with the Program Manager and other case managers as needed, on
action/service plans and coordinating approaches for successful outcomes.
Follows up to determine quantity and quality of service provided to the Veterans. And address
any barriers identified.
Conducts outreach to identify and provide services to target populations.
Organizes Case Management efforts to meet Department of Labor requirements.
Financial Assistance to eligible households, as necessary
Identifies and develops and maintains relationships beneficial to program and agency in order to
generate program referrals and to promote the agency.

Planning/organizing-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and
develops realistic action plans.
Other required skills:
The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. This position also requires a solid, self-
directed individual who can excel both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial environment. Candidates must be able to complete tasks according to accepted levels
of quality. Experience in a growing entrepreneurial company is preferred. Excellent work ethic,
enthusiasm, and positive energy.
