What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager (IWT) position at Cleaver-Brooks?

Job Summary...

Drive growth in our large industrial product line sales. This position will serve in both a business development function and as a liaison between our industrial boiler group and regional engineers and EPCs.

Essential Functions...

  • Develop relationships with Gulf Coast region engineering firms, EPCs, and mechanicals
  • Maintain up to date information on opportunities and leads in company CRM
  • Generate proposals using CRM software and Microsoft Office programs
  • Manage multiple large opportunities simultaneously
  • Obtain membership in local engineering and mechanical contracting organizations.
  • Recommend company involvement in trade shows, lunch and learns, and other networking functions
  • Coordinate bid reviews/ due dates with Nebraska engineering team
  • Set up site visits/job walks ahead of bid deliveries
  • Review IRR opportunities and other lead generation platforms
  • Works closely with Sales Manager, Engineering, Projects, and our EBS group in Nebraska.
  • Obtain BRE and Engineered Boiler System Sales qualifications within 6 months of employment at CBSS.

 

Physical Skill and Effort...

Work requires regular speed and accuracy operating office equipment. Regional travel is required with some overnight stays.

 

Working Conditions and Hazards ...

Typical office conditions.  From time to time, some plant, shop, or field exposure will occur and may offer slightly disagreeable features.  Negligible/little or no exposure.

                

Do You Qualify ...

Education: 

High School Diploma or equivalent at minimum. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills are a must
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Can manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion
  • Ability to prioritize and make sound judgements with little to no supervision
