What You’ll Do
As an Account Expansion Specialist here at BambooHR, you will have the opportunity to set our existing clients free to do great work! You will do this by helping them learn about additional software features and ensuring the right products are sold to the right customer, all while focusing on creating an exceptional experience. It’s the perfect blend of customer service and sales (minus the cold calling, of course!). Your daily responsibilities as an Account Expansion Specialist at BambooHR will include:
- Responding quickly to customer inquiries and proactively reaching out to customers at proper milestones
- Selling the right products to the clients that could benefit from additional services
- Using your organization and prioritization skills to effectively manage a revolving pipeline of 60-80 customer sales opportunities
- Conducting demonstrations to show clients how our products work
- Communicating with clients via phone and email
- Consistently measuring and improving your lead to close ratio, persistence, call quality, and customer satisfaction scores
- Coordinating with other customer-facing teams to ensure that each client who comes to Expansion is taken care of
- Being present and engaged full-time, M-F 8AM - 5PM (no nights or weekends, hooray!)
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer success
- Collaboration and negotiation are talents of yours and you’re able to utilize them to communicate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate the value of additional products via online demos, phone, and email
- You can engage and communicate with customers in a positive and approachable way
