Job Summary
The Cleveland Browns are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an IT Intern. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fans, staff, and coaches by providing exceptional technological support both onsite and remotely. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, including executives, managers, and coaches. The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously is key. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all Front Office technology support inquiries and issues, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
Pay Range: $15 - $18 per hour, pending experience
Job Responsibilities
Quickly identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption to operations.
Assist with the installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, printers, and scanners for staff members.
Provide troubleshooting support for laptops and desktops running on both Windows and Mac operating systems.
Offer audiovisual (A/V) support as needed for events and meetings.
Assist with the setup and teardown of event-related technology equipment and functions, providing technical support during gamedays and other stadium events.
Provide support for mobile devices, including those running on iOS and Android platforms.
Troubleshoot network communication issues and assist end users with connectivity problems.
Provide help desk support, including responding to inquiries via email, IM, and phone, and offer event support as required, which may include working nights and weekends.
Create technical documentation for support issues and user guides to assist with training and troubleshooting processes.
IT support at both Cleveland Browns Stadium and CrossCountry Mortgage Campus.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled or completed a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).
Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Proficiency in troubleshooting common IT issues, both hardware and software-related.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, especially during events or high-demand periods.
Prior experience in a customer service or technical support role is a plus.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and practices is preferred.
