Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, is looking for a Weld Technician for its Sylacauga, Alabama facility
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for changeovers on all stand-alone welders
- Responsible for maintenance, upkeep and PM of all stand-alone welders and weld fixtures
- Responsible for inventory and reorder of weld tips and electrodes, as defined by the kanban inventory system
- Must be able to perform and interpret destruct tests in order to make necessary adjustments to weld parameters
- Assist the Supervisor with production and scheduling requirements
- Must have some mechanical and/or set-up experience
