What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Worker position at CLI NY LLC?
Commercial Housekeeping/Janitorial Position
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Cleaning and sanitizing common area restrooms
Cleaning common area tables and chairs
Disposing of common area trash
Cleaning of trash liners
Removal of common area spills and trash
Cleaning and maintaining ash trays throughout common area
Cleaning and maintaining of common area doors, corridors, railings, etc.
Refilling of dispensers including hand sanitizers, soap, paper towel, etc.
Daily cleaning and maintaining of vacant spaces including interior and exterior
Maintaining recycle bins from overflowing
Restocking of janitorial room supplies
Cleaning of Management Office and disposing of trash
Fill out daily, weekly checklist/report
Notify security or management of any necessary repairs and/or incidents
Misc. housekeeping and janitorial tasks/duties
Required Education/Training:
Housekeeping/Janitorial experience a plus
Knowledgeable in restroom sanitation
Must be able to lift approx. 50lbs
Works well with others
Understand how to use clock-in/clock-out app on mobile phone
Must report to Supervisor
A sense of hospitality, integrity, pride in your work and a love for cleanliness and organization
Extreme attention to detail
Takes initiative without supervision
Follow all OSHA rules and regulations
Starting at $16 an hour depending on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
