The Role:
We seek a dedicated Account Manager to drive the development of both Seasonal and All-Year-Round Business.
The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing partners, customers, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
The position is based primarily in the Skelmersdale office, with the opportunity to work from home one day a week. It will also include occasional UK and European travel.
This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who excels in managing client relationships, thrives in a collaborative environment, and contributes to our business's ongoing growth and success. The successful person will be vital in driving business performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and manage assigned client accounts to achieve business objectives.
Build and sustain strong, strategic relationships both internally and externally.
Oversee a diverse portfolio of customers within the Chocolate and Confectionery product range
Responsible for costings within the Product Development Process, including negotiating pricing with manufacturing partners
Ensure the timely and successful execution of projects, meeting the needs of customers and manufacturing partners.
Present sales reports and provide clear communication on the progress of key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and develop growth opportunities by collaborating with the broader team and manufacturing partners.
Manage high-priority requests or escalate issues when necessary.
Negotiate pricing and manage expenditures, aligning with strategic, budgetary, and forecast goals.
Skills/Abilities/Behaviours:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and numerate abilities.
A minimum of three years of Own Label Account Management experience is preferred.
Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail.
