Our client, a well established and reputed manufacturer are looking for a CI Manager to join the business and support them in improving processes across their manufacturing operations. As CI Manager, you will support integration of new, and standardisation and improvement of existing processes, delivering gains in efficiencies, capacity and throughput.

As CI manager you will be a capable change manager, influencer and effective leader who can champion change and embed lean culture across a group of people with varied levels of exposure to lean tools. You will be tasked with challenging existing process, gathering and using data to inform improvement opportunities and developing change initiatives linked to their delivery.
The ability to integrate these lean tools into daily activity and develop a culture of engagement with these is a critical measure of the position.

As CI Manager you will also:
- Liaise with the SLT and group to design, deliver and review best-practice.
- Effectively utilise tools such as LEAN, Six Sigma methodologies, Value Stream Mapping and Time in Motion
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and achieve target savings thought the use of lean tools.
- Support teams to coach and train tools and principles which build and embed a Right First Time / Lean culture.
- Determine and introduce training/development initiatives as required to further the sites capabilities
- Develop and maintain new and existing relationships to share and develop best practice standards.
- Design and support implementation projects where process improvement is in scope.
- Create ownership and capability development programmes.
- Recommend, develop and introduce appropriate systems to embed and support the continued evolution of a CI culture within the company operations.
- Proven background in delivering quantifiable change within organisations through improving systems and processes utilising lean tools.
- A background in manufacturing or industrial engineering or similar / formal lean training
- Experience in capex justification and project delivery
