The Critical Care RN Manager will report directly to the Nursing Director of ICU, who will be an excellent mentor and provide training and support. This structure will facilitate a smooth transition into the RN Leadership role, which predominantly entails day-shift responsibilities and emphasizes close collaboration with Nursing Staff, many whom are CCRNs. There is also an ICU Nurse Educator on site.
The primary duties revolve around taking ownership of productivity and financial compliance while maximizing resource efficiency. Also, overseeing treatment quality and patient care standards to maintain exemplary satisfaction levels. Effective leadership in staff management is critical, ensuring the achievement of high-quality clinical outcomes and cultivating a nurturing and streamlined work atmosphere. Additionally, it involves clinically overseeing the assigned patient cohort, including evaluating staff proficiency and tactically delegating responsibilities to enhance patient care effectiveness.
