Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at a 65-bed acute care hospital in Washington. The Emergency Department Nurse will provide urgent and critical care to patients of all ages, triaging and treating a wide range of medical conditions. The Emergency Room Nurse will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver prompt and effective emergency care.
Emergency Room RN Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Nurse will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver prompt and effective emergency care.
Emergency Room RN Responsibilities
- Triage patients based on acuity and prioritize care accordingly.
- Perform rapid assessments and intervene in emergency situations as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as per physician orders.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, response to treatments, and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding patient status and treatment plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures.
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
