The Hospital Director Infection Prevention is responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare-associated infections. The Hospital Director Infection Prevention collaborates with teams and individuals to create infection prevention strategies, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies. The Hospital Director Infection Prevention identifies, investigates, and records data concerning hospital-acquired infections, those present on admission, and potential infections and initiates infection control measures as directed by national protocols, and regulatory agencies. The Hospital Director Infection Prevention directs the program utilizing the standards set forth by all regulatory agencies.
