NEW OPPORTUNITY: INTERIM RN Director Women's and Children's Services
Location: Northern Arizona, 100-bed Acute Care Hospital
Timeline: This hospital organization is looking for the candidate to start within 2-3 weeks of an offer.
What you have: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, Master's Degree highly preferred, Active Arizona (Compact) State RN Licensure, 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Women's and Infants Services, Ability to start a contract assignment within 2-3 weeks.
About the Hospital: This 100-bed short-term acute care hospital, nestled in the heart of beautiful Northern Arizona, offers a broad range of medical services to patients in the nearby communities, with services including Cardiology, Surgical Services, 24-hour Emergency Services, Orthopedics, Women's and Infants Services with a Level II Nursery, and Outpatient Care. This not-for-profit Trauma Center is well-known in the community for its decades-long provision of high-quality patient care.
About the Job: Working in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the INTERIM Nursing Director of Women's and Children's Services will provide leadership and support to the team for a period of 13 weeks, with possibility for extension. The Nurse Director Maternal Child Health will manage and direct operations for the 20-bed unit with 2 OB Operating Rooms. Areas of oversight will include couplet care/GYN, LDRP, Perinatal Triage, and Obstetrical OR. The INTERIM Nursing Director will focus their efforts on team building, heading up quality and performance improvement projects, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Working with CMC: The experienced INTERIM Nursing Director Women's and Children's Services will be offered a weekly compensation, travel/flights, lodging, rental car, and health insurance for the duration of the assignment. The Interim leader will be prepared to start an assignment within less than a month of receiving an offer, and will have the wonderful opportunity to join a dedicated Maternal Child Health team!
