Neuroscience Department Manager

An outstanding, highly ranked hospital in Maryland is looking for a RN Manager Neuroscience to join their team!

This acute care hospital is 300 beds and known for providing a wide variety of both inpatient and outpatient services. They have multiple specialties including neurology program, cancer care, cardiac surgery, trauma center, rehabilitation services, emergency medicine, and a women’s center.

The RN Manager Neuroscience will be responsible for patient navigation, coordinating patient care, the operating/capital budget, and other business operations throughout the Neuroscience Departments. They will support the development and coordination of patient care within Neuroscience services and assume fiscal responsibility for Neuroscience and EEG budgets. The RN Manager Neuroscience will actively identify and assist in implementing strategies which optimize utilization in all areas of Neuroscience services. They will develop, report, and present dashboard models to leadership teams, as well as manage and develop relationships with medical staff, interdepartmental staff, EEG staff, Neuroscience Advance Practice Providers (PAs, NPs, etc.) and operating room staff.
