The NICU Nurse Manager will be leading a highly-skilled team of healthcare professionals with a hospital that provides a wide array of services. The NICU Nurse Manager will be providing leadership and management to a 65 bed, Level IV Intensive Care Nursery. This Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cares for all sick and premature babies as small as 23 weeks gestations. This NICU supports Labor and Delivery by responding to all high-risk deliveries. This NICU Nurse Manager will be providing leadership to a team of 160 FTEs including RT Staff, Registered Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, Charge Nurses, and will collaborate with three other NICU Nurse Managers. Responsibilities in this role include staff assessments, daily operations, and will report directly to the Neonatal Director and other department leaders to maintain the highest level of patient care. To maximize success in this role, the NICU Nurse Manager will ideally possess previous NICU nursing leadership experience and display the ability to effectively train and communicate with staff.
