An acute care hospital in beautiful Texas is looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to their growing team!
This 50 bed hospital provides a range of medical services with advanced technology for its patients and community. Services include sleep lab, radiology program, critical care, orthopedic, pulmonology, emergency, surgical, stroke, maternity, and much more.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will report directly to the Director of Radiology. They will be accountable for operating all equipment associated with the Nuclear Medicine department to include the Stress Lab, transportation of patients to and from the department, while assisting in managing the daily schedule. They will assist in cleaning of rooms, ordering of supplies, transmitting images to PACS, provide quality patient care and some clerical work. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works closely with the radiologist and cardiologist that supervise and interpret the images.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must be a graduate of an accredited school and be NMTCB registered. This position is Monday through Friday working in the Nuclear Medicine department as well as the Stress Lab and will rotate in the on-call schedule as well as the holiday schedule with the existing staff.
