The Surgical Services Nursing Director will report to the Vice President of Operations and have exceptional communication and leadership skills. The Director Surgical Services will take on the role of serving as a patient advocate, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, staffing, policy and procedure, budget, and state and federal regulations.

The Nurse Director Surgical Services will be responsible for the following service units: Pre-Operative Care, Day Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, and Central Sterile Processing, and oversee 90 remarkable surgical services RN nursing leaders and support staff with a centralized teamwork-based approach.

It is required that this Surgical Services RN Director has 5 years of director or manager-level nursing leadership experience, possesses a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, and provides a bachelor’s degree.
