An established acute care hospital located in eastern Connecticut is currently searching for an experienced Operating Room Assistant Nurse Manager to join their award-winning organization.

This not-for-profit acute care facility is home to over 200-beds and provides a wide variety of award-winning medical and surgical services. Celebrating more than a century of patient centered care, this hospital boasts the latest innovative technologies and partners with world-class healthcare providers. This acute care team is known as a regional leader in inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitative, and emergency care services.

Reporting to the Operating Room Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will work as a clinical expert within the surgical services department. The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee the surgical staff, direct daily work flow, support organization team members, and ensure the quality of patient care provided in the surgical department.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Current licensure in good standing with the State of Connecticut
  • CNOR certification is preferred
  • Prior Charge or Supervisory experience
