This Clinical Nurse Director MedSurg will be joining a community hospital that is one of the most active in the region, and has been serving the local community for over 50 years. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Nurse Director MedSurg will oversee a team of Nurse Coordinators, MedSurg RNs and Charge Nurses who will look directly to them for guidance and support. This RN Director will help maintain a competent team of MedSurg and Swing Bed nurses by exhibiting excellent leadership and organizational skills. This Nurse Director will also work alongside departmental teams of administrative and clinical staff throughout the hospital.
The Clinical Nurse Director MedSurg will provide clinical and administrative direction and oversight of the hospital's Medical Surgical and Swing Bed Unit. They will spearhead the planning, organization, and execution of nursing practices throughout the department in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. They will serve as a mentor and teacher to other departmental staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care. The Nurse Director will also serve as a liaison between departmental teams in order to reach organizational goals.
