An exciting opportunity has just become available for the Neonatal ICU RN Supervisor! This facility is seeking an experienced NICU Nurse leader to join their team.
This beloved 210 bed short term acute care facility located in the Western Texas region is a part of a large state-wide healthcare system, which will offer career stability, growth, and advancement. This growing healthcare facility offers a variety of medical services, including: advanced cardiovascular services, 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, radiology and diagnostic imaging services, comprehensive women’s services, pediatric care, wound care, as well as adult and neonatal intensive care. Additionally, this hospital is accredited by the DNV (Det Norske Veritas Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations).
The Neonatal ICU RN Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of this 40 bed, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Nurse Supervisor of NICU will have the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with physician staff, NICU RNs, and the NICU Director to ensure delivery of high quality neonatal care. The NICU RN Supervisor will also be responsible for developing and implementing departmental budgets, coordinating monthly staff meetings, conducting training and education for current staff as well as overseeing on-boarding for new hires, as well as serving as a liaison between patient families, staff, and physicians.
This role is RN-required and BSN-preferred. NICU certification is highly preferred. Three or more years of recent experience in a Level III-IV NICU is highly desirable for this position.
