The Sterile Processing Technician will join an outstanding medical center and play an important role in supporting the clinical and administrative mission of the health system. Reporting to the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Manager, the Sterile Processing Technician will work closely with an outstanding team of Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) professionals, as well as Scrub / Circulating RNs, Surgical Technologists, fantastic Surgeons, and support staff.
Currently performing over 1000 procedures per month, this 10 Operating Room Department offers a wide range of procedures. The Perioperative Services Department has cutting-edge technology built in to every suite, so it can offer a full range of surgery procedures, from Robotics / Minimally Invasive, to ENT, Spine Breast, and ENT. The Sterile Processing Technician will join a unit has been awarded both locally and nationally for high performing metrics in Orthopedics Surgery, low infection rates, and outstanding employee engagement.
The Sterile Processing Technician will play an important part in the day-to-day operations of the Central Sterile Processing Department. This team of SPD Techs will have both routine tasks assigned, as well as the opportunity to contribute to larger projects and initiatives. Beyond decontamination, processing, and distribution of sterile supplies, this person will also support the maintenance of regulatory and compliance records.
