JOB SUMMARY
The Field Recruiter acts as a liaison between the local communities, potential research subjects, and the clinical research units. They will be responsible for making connections in the community (New Jersey and New York primarily) that support patient recruitment initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, attend and speak at/to support groups, educational programs, job fairs, library programs, awareness walks, farmer's markets, college programs, etc. to raise awareness about clinical trial participation
- Work with the Director of Patient Engagement and Advocacy to strategize efforts that generate the maximum return on investment
- Solicit calls from potential community programs
- Network with local physician offices to gain patient referrals
- Conduct candidate prescreening to determine enrollment eligibility at local events
- Learn study protocols for a variety of indications
- Describe study details to community groups and potential research subjects
- Provide weekly reports to management regarding efforts
- Utilize field agent GPS tracking software and time tracking software
- Distribute flyers, postcards, information packets, etc.
- Other duties as required
TRAVELING
This position will be almost exclusively spent with local travel, consisting of about 90% of the time. 10% remote-based desk work for administrative reporting.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. For NYC, the salary range is between 60 - 65K
Requirements
- The Field Recruiter should have at least a high school diploma.
- Excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills over the phone and in person, and proficient computer literacy required.
