Central Goal: To provide the weekly custodial care for the church.
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform the weekly janitorial duties for the church building.
Hours: This is a part time position. We expect the person who fills this position to work approximately 6 hours per week. Compensation will be at NJ Minimum Wage ($15.13/hr).
Custodial Responsibilities:
- Clean assigned areas thoroughly on a weekly/monthly basis, as appropriate.
- Take out garbage and recyclables.
- Coordinate with Office Administrator regarding regular building use schedule and any special events.
- Replenish/install trash can liners, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, deodorizers, etc.
- Operate, clean, and store equipment in a safe effective manner.
- Monitor periodic or specialized cleaning needs.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate with Office Administrator place orders when needed.
