BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Clix is searching for a qualified individual with 2-4 years of proven B2B solution-based sales experience. You must be driven, professional, enthusiastic, proactive, determined, self-managed, accountable, adaptable, and very detailed-oriented.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of Clix’s solutions in order to effectively communicate our value proposition and potential impact
- Understand and be able to articulate the difference between Clix and perceived competition
- Understand the difference and execute on solution-based (rather than product-based) selling
- Use a variety of innovative lead-generation techniques to source and close new prospects; experiment with different lead-generation tactics and combine lead-generation tactics across multiple channels
- Source and set appointments with contributing and/or leading decision-makers to strategize Clix solutions
- Generate and manage pipeline of leads and report activity through CRM system
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing proposals; developing and negotiating contracts
- Assist in maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Ability to maintain and exceed sales quota/revenue goals
- Act in accordance with and adapt to Clix’s evolving sales process
- Adapt to Clix’s new offerings and be able to position their value accordingly
- Collaborate with your client and meet with them regularly to field questions and gauge their experience
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations; stay up to date on industry trends
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited four-year college
- 2-4 years of proven B2B sales experience
- Experience networking with and selling to specific verticals (e.g. healthcare, legal, home services, etc.) preferred; understanding of how specific business models (specific to vertical) tend to function is preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with outstanding listening skills
- Team player attitude with an interest in helping clients and peers succeed
- Internet savvy and ability to leverage progressive technology to walk through solutions
