Qualifications
Applicant must have a Master’s degree, hold appropriate SC certification or have applied for appropriate SC certification, and have five years of experience as a teacher.
English and Administrative certification is required.

Job Summary
The job of Dean of Students is done for the purposes of assisting with overall site operations; receiving, distributing and communicating information to enforce school, district, and state policies; maintaining safety of school environment; coordinating school activities; communicating information to staff; and addressing situations, problems and/or conflicts that could negatively impact the school.
Essential Functions
Coordinate Incoming/Outgoing Students- Designee for SPED LEA (as needed)
- Manage Discipline/Behavior and Incentive Program
- Coordinate and manage of Character Coaching Program (BASIC/ISS)
- Supervise student movement within the school
- Assist Director in Student Transition to Extended Day
- Coordinate After School Programs and Assist with Building Security

Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include; using pertinent software applications; planning and managing projects.
Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job includes: application of pertinent laws and regulations relating to education; concepts of management and supervision.
Specific abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: providing leadership, direction and team building; maintaining confidentiality; communicating with diverse groups; meeting deadlines and schedules; setting priorities; working as a part of a team and working with frequent interruptions.

Terms of Employment
210 days per school year; Salary based on District Scale for Teachers
