Collateral Specialist

Location : Bellview, FL

Duration : 12 months plus extensions

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Collateral Specialist to join our team. The Specialist will be responsible for performing various tasks related to mortgage servicing, credit analysis, underwriting, and compliance with TILA and Fair Housing regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of loan origination processes.

Duties:

- Review loan documents and contracts for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of loan origination processes
- Assist with escrow management and coordination
- Provide support in resolving customer inquiries and issues related to mortgage servicing
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in mortgage lending regulations

Qualifications:
- Experience in mortgage servicing, underwriting, or credit analysis preferred
- Strong knowledge of TILA, Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant laws
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to loan origination
- Proficient in using computer software applications for data analysis and reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
