To achieve this mission, we are looking for a Billing Specialist with strong accounting skills who can accurately manage all outgoing invoices.


What You'll Do

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys making a direct contribution to increasing the company’s revenue. As a Billing Specialist, you will work with a team to manage the global billing platform. Your main responsibilities will include preparing, creating, and sending out client invoices.. This involves a complex invoicing process as each client and invoice is different. You must be able to oversee the entire invoicing process. Apart from that, you will also be responsible for accurate and complete revenue allocation for financial forecasting and reporting purposes

In addition, you will:


  • Determine the agreements with each client and handle any exceptions.
  • Address incoming customer inquiries, disputes, and complex billing issues.
  • Monitor deadlines, maintain internal communication, and ensure smooth administrative processes.
  • Manage and oversee finance completeness checks related to contracts, pricing, and subscriptions.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports of billing data.
  • Ensure the tax process runs smoothly.


Furthermore, you will assist in projects focused on automation and improving the billing and collection platform to support the company's future growth

In this role, you will report to the Lead Billing & Collections. You will also collaborate closely with the other three Billing specialists and other teams within the Finance department.


Requirements:

You connect with us, if you have:

  • Bachelor in Finance / Accounting /Business Administration or comparable;
  • A minimum of 2 years OF relevant working experience in billing, accounts receivable or other relevant accounting position(s);
  • Knowledge of invoice / AR processes and modules is strongly preferred;
  • Practical experience with accounting software is a pre;
  • Very accurate and detail-oriented;
  • High level of critical thinking and logical analysis;
  • excellent communication skills, in English (fluent) and Dutch (strongly preferred);
  • A resilient mindset, the ability to find creative solutions to problems and challenges.
