What are the responsibilities and job description for the IR Special Procedures Tech position at CM Recruitment?
The Interventional Radiology Technologist demonstrates competency in all diagnostic and standard interventional radiology procedures; demonstrates effective communication skills as an active member of the Special Procedures team; and follows established standards and practices under the direction of the radiologist, invasive cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon.
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will participate in the on-call schedule as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid ARRT certification
Clear/active Florida state licensure (CRT)
Associate Degree / 2-year Radiologic Technology program completion
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 18 months experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
Lifting and/or carrying patients/objects/equipment (exert up to 75 lbs force and/or lift/carry up to 25 lbs frequently)
Salary:
Salary range: $30 - $42
On Call pay: $4
Sign On: $20k
Relocation: Case by case
Shift times:
Days, Evening, Nights, or Weekends (8, 10, 12s) hours are flexible
ON CALL IS REQUIRED – Must be within 30 mins while on call
