Position Description
Job Title: REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Reports to: VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Position Summary
The Regional HR Manager will be operationally focused and responsible for providing services and support in a wide array of functional areas of Human Resources for a regional group of business units. Success in this role will be defined by strong, healthy business unit cultures that support organizational and career growth. The Regional HR Manager will report to the Vice President of HR with a dotted line to the Regional Vice President of Operations.
Key Deliverables
- Industry-leading retention metrics by maintaining highly effective partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver optimized human capital policies, workflow, and effective resolution of HR-related matters.
- Thorough understanding of employee activity and internal trends by analyzing HCM reporting and ensuring best practice software utilization to drive performance.
- A safe, fair, and competitive culture by ensuring compliance with all Federal, state, and local HR-related legislation.
Position Responsibilities
- Support Regional Team strategy and performance through execution of HR and payroll related initiatives.
- Regularly visit business units and interact with the employees and leadership; understand local culture and challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to the Regional Vice President of Operations.
- Recommend policies and practices suitable for each business unit in accordance with the overall company policies.
- Provide personnel guidance to management and respond to human-resources-related inquiries.
- Consult with Vice President of Human Resources and subject matter experts at Headquarters to ensure best-practice guidance is provided to regional business units.
- Analyze repetitive HR-related issues as well as opportunities for improvement; make recommendations for permanent solutions that support people and operational goals.
- Train new payroll and HR administrators on company-specific HCM system utilization.
- Collect and analyze compensation and benefit information for the region as well as local competitors to ensure business units remain competitive.
- Assist with compensation and benefits planning and administration including coordination of annual open enrollment, recommended plan changes, and regional trends.
- Edit and maintain employee handbooks for compliance.
- Remain current with Federal, State, and Local HR laws, legislation, and trends, ensure compliance with each.

Position Requirements
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 years human resources management experience.
- 2 years of operations management experience.
- Strong experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
- Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly establish trust and form connections with employees.
- Ability to interface at various levels within the organization, strong presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Computer literate to include above average skills with Microsoft applications.
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with UKG Pro (formerly Ulti Pro).
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
