Senior Associate Consultant
Location: Washington, D.C. or Durham, NC
CMG partners with organizations to enable enterprise leaders to realize their potential in business. We are looking for a Senior Associate Consultant to support and drive delivery in client engagements, focusing in the areas of strategy, data analytics, digital & business transformations.
As a Senior Associate Consultant at CMG, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing firm by working on both client projects and internal firm initiatives. You’ll collaborate across project teams & work within the fabric of client organizations to create value and drive change. Delivering across firm solutions & varying client industries, you can also explore areas of interest, while engaging in challenging and relevant work.

The role can be based out of our Durham, N.C. or Washington, D.C. office, with travel opportunities for both client and firm work.
*Due to COVID-19, we are currently operating in a hybrid environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-quality work across client engagements, owning key deliverables and driving work to completion
- Balance multiple & concurrent project priorities, while ensuring highest delivery quality
- Develop and apply frameworks and approaches to deliver work, identify possible barriers, and recommend solutions
- Build credible relationships with client contacts, project teams, 1099 contractors and employees at all levels
- Support business development efforts supporting proposal development with thought leadership and section ownership
- Contribute to the development of our team through collaboration, shared best practices, and peer mentorship
- Serve as an active member on internal initiatives to advance firm capabilities and vision
- Foster the entrepreneurial spirit at CMG
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience or relevant industry roles
- Strong relationship builder with demonstrated success in building credibility with clients
- Demonstrated excellence presenting to an executive-level audience using both oral and written communication
- Experience managing time and meeting deadlines across multiple and competing priorities, with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in reporting analytics & dashboards with respective tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics)
- Ability to conduct research (primary and secondary)
- Entrepreneurial mind set, comfort with diving in and working with autonomy in ambiguous areas
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship (current and future)
