Old Brownlee Care Center is seeking a Environmental Services Housekeeping Homemaker Team Member!

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Participates in preparation of food and food handling techniques to ensure quality maintaining sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ensures that diets are served as prescribed making only authorized substitutions.
• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures.
• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
• Performs day-to-day housekeeping functions in resident rooms and common areas in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Identifies, plans and incorporates resident’s daily pleasures and interests into household life bases upon recommendations from families and friends.
• Distributes clean laundry, linen, and garments daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Provide patience and compassion when working with residents and family members.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.

Other Qualifications

• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
• Capable of providing emergency care as needed for any resident in the facility.
• Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
