POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to Deans of students, incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support to meet the requirements of multiple regulating agencies for accreditation. Position is responsible for coordinating all component of accreditation process, policies, procedures, and for completing compliance projects and reports for site visits or other initiatives. Assists in reviewing private postsecondary institutions to assure quality training and compliance with accreditation standards.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
§ Review Faculty files for compliance with ABHES and reach out to Faculty to provide missing documents.
§ Assist in organizing and facilitating evaluation visits for all initial or reaccreditations.
§ Draft, consolidate, and edit reports for reviews and evaluations.
§ Provide assistance to the Dean of Students during accreditation visits and reviews.
§ Assist the Dean of Students to prepare and update accreditation forms.
§ Work under supervision of the Dean of Students and perform administrative duties required to complete projects and documentation for site visits.
§ Perform administrative duties to mee the standards.
§ Assist the Dean in ensuing that all programs are compliant with the regulations by accrediting bodies.
§ Maintains databases related to accreditation.
§ Coordinates accreditation support functions. Plans and coordinates accreditation activities and services. Participates in the planning and execution of operations.
§ Monitors office procedures related to accreditation.
§ Establish timelines for initial accreditation and subsequent review.
§ Implements management policies or operating practices as they pertain to accreditations.
§ Researches, interprets, compiles, and responds to inquiries about rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
§ Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
§ Performs special analyses and project summaries.
§ Analyzes program, project, or initiatives. Monitors project timelines and identifies issues. Adapts, combines, and makes improvements to services, processes, or programs.
§ Assist the Dean of Students for all duties and functions as they relate to credentialing.
§ Plans and coordinates meetings, seminars, in-service, and other special events as needed to support unit.
§ Develop and maintain a Faculty Credentials Database to ensure compliance with ABHES and other accreditation bodies.
§ Maintain a program accreditation database that tracks programmatic accreditation across campus;
§ Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Two years of administrative experience.
- Three years of related experience in education sector.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills and ability to effectively communicate.
- Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
