Co-Staff Corp is hiring for CNC Operators/programmers, Grinding Machinists, and Quality Assurance for 1st or 2nd shift in Roscoe, IL. The company is one of the few manufacturers of integrated axle solutions in the off-highway electric vehicle market. They serve customers in a variety of end markets including off-highway vehicles, recreational vehicles, aerospace, defense, oil & gas, material handling, powertrain, electric mobility, heavy duty trucking, agriculture, and construction.
Job Summary:
Set up, adjust, and operate conventional or computer numeric controlled internal and/or external grinders to grind surfaces of exacting dimensional and finish requirements. Edit and prove programs and/or manually program at the machine computer console. Dress wheels to obtain desired contours. Maintains high productivity and a desire to increase.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Requires physical ability and stamina to perform the essential functions of the position, including the ability to walk, stand, lift, carry up to 50 pounds, push, kneel, bend, stoop, reach over and under waist level, twist for extended periods of time on cement or other hard surfaces, etc.
- Demonstrates the verbal and written communication skills necessary to complete forms and take messages in a legible, accurate manner.
- Two-year certification from technical school or two plus years of experience.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Ability to use a computer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
