JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Night Audit will assist guest to their best ability while creating a memorable experience. This is an over night position with possibility to work some day/mid shifts.

Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel.

Upon check-in, the customers' credit card is verified for the method of payment, along with phone number, email and address on file.

Guest reservations are made through established external reservation system when speaking to guest to collect all information according.

Is responsible for completing issues in billing, making changes to reservations, and assisting guest in a timely manner

Throughout your shift agent, will answer hotel phone, handle guest requests, and implement these requests into the correct system.

Deposit guests' valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes.

Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts during checkout, check-in, and entering in invoices.

Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.

Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.

Perform other duties as requested by management on a timely manner during shift.

Any form of communication about guest, issues on property, or what happened during that day while sending them to direct supervisor and team members.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous customer service experience required or equivalent training.

Dynamic, engaging and passionate personality with the ability to multi-task in a high stress situation

Flexible working hours that include holidays and weekends

Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, and lifting up to 25.

Well rounded verbal and communication skills

Balance revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day of operations while performing Guest Service Agent tasks and duties.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
  • Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports.
  • Audit and reconcile cashiers.
  • Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
  • Input and update financial information into M3 network.
  • Check guests/in out and perform Guest Service Agents tasks.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training preferred
  • Computer knowledge/Excel and arithmetic skills required.
  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per year
