The Compliance Manager is responsible for managing and assisting the Compliance Analysts with identifying and monitoring compliance risks of the CCBX Division and those that will impact the Bank, by performing initial due diligence, risk assessment and ongoing monitoring of compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to its operations, product offerings and marketing efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, train and assist CCBX Compliance Analysts
- Research, analyze and draw conclusions related to all federal and state rules and regulations and their applicability to the CCBX Partner, products, services and systems
- Conducts compliance monitoring of the SP to determine whether compliance is adequate and effectively managed in accordance with bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements
- Participates in initial due diligence review and validation of the CCBX compliance management program and monitors the ongoing effectiveness of the CCBX compliance risk management.
- Recommends corrective action and suggests improvement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Follow and comply with all regulatory and compliance regulations
- Provide internal service in accordance with Coastal Core Values
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- General understanding of regulatory compliance and FFIEC requirements is desired
- General understanding of the digital payment processing environment.
- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Required to handle multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- PC experience navigating in a Windows environment and using multiple applications
- Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure timely and effective communication
- Prior experience with personal computers and Windows based software and excel spreadsheets
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3-5 years compliance and/or FinTech experience preferred
