Salary range for the position is $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents
- Manage document management systems to ensure accurate and efficient storage and retrieval of information
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and other written materials
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for self and partners
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information and client records
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- Bar passage or Colorado licensure (preferred)
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Familiarity with document management systems and software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
