What we need...
A Risk Engineer II to perform regular and on-going reviews of COCC's systems to ensure compliance with general expectations of internal and external audit entities. The senior role is expected to train and mentor junior staff in COCC's processes and procedures, as well as provide guidance.

What you'll do...
- Identify control weaknesses, regulatory compliance issues, and potential areas of risk for all segments of the data processing and information technology operations
- Develop reports for management regarding system compliance with standards
- Assist in gathering data requested for regulatory exams, internal audits, and external security reviews
- Assist in the execution of the corporate vendor management program by conducting vendor security reviews
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state banking regulations as they relate to information security, risk assessment and privacy
- Perform system reviews as necessary for selected platforms
- Firewall, network device, and OS configuration reviews
- Web application reviews
- Windows/Linux/firewall system log reviews
- Policy compliance reviews to ensure systems meeting defined standards
- Physical Access security reviews
- Vulnerability assessment and validation of system patch status
What you'll bring...
- Bachelor degree preferred but will consider appropriate work experience and certifications.
- 2-3 years of prior experience in an IT support role
- Proven track record as a member of a technical team and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to communicate security and technical concepts effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform and prioritize effectively in a highly dynamic work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts
- Knowledge and awareness of current security technologies and practices
- Ability to learn new software applications and processes
- Experience providing training and creating procedure documentation
Nice to have...
- Security certification (security , GSEC, etc.)
- 1-2 years' experience in information security
- Cloud experience
- General knowledge of FFIEC guidelines and regulations
- General knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance requirements for the business
- General knowledge of the SOC audit process
- Experience with SIEM, host based IPS, vulnerability scanning, web application scanning, scripting languages such as Python or Powershell
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, firewalls, routers, switches, databases
Salary Range is $75,000-$105,000 per year
