Trim Associate

Pay: $18.00 per hour to start, opportunity to increase based on performance

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work individually to meet the daily quota.
• Handle and craft our product delicately on the stem.
• Hand-buck flower buds from the cannabis plant branches after the initial drying phase of the cure/dry process.
• Burp cannabis bins during the dry/cure process.
• Sift and quality control product at the end of the trimming to the set standards of no shake, stems, water leaves, burnt tops, or moldy product in the bag.
• Maintain quality product while reaching daily quotas.
• Maintain the organization cleanliness of the space while performing bucking.
• Assist in weekly harvest takedowns.
• Assure accuracy and consistency while trimming, bucking and weighing product.
• Share responsibility of clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to sit, squat, stand, kneel, bend or walk through the workday for long periods.
• Ability to lift items, which are generally under 30 pounds.
• Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check.
• Cannabis knowledge is preferred.
