JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

PURPOSE: The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the daily workflow of the Human Resource department.
- Collaborates with the Executive Team to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies.
- Plans, coordinates, and implements training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters including disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, and training and development.
- Develops best practices for Human Resource objectives.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends as related to Human Resources.
- Collaborate with Leadership Team to conduct skills gap analyses and design remedial professional development opportunities.
- Supports management by providing Human Resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Participating in CODAC Performance Improvement activities
- Performing other duties, as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management preferred, Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resource Management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
