Chief Revenue Officer Job Description

The Chief Revenue Officer is responsible for all of the revenue and customer facing teams at CodeHS including Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Support. This position would be part of the executive team reporting to the CEO.

The CRO will be a company leader to help accelerate revenue and improve upon the company go to market strategy.

Role and responsibilities include:

  • Manager of 4 different directors and departments
  • Responsible for the overall company revenue 
  • Improve upon and scale go to market strategy
  • Help with frameworks, strategies, metrics for tracking revenue

Prior experience:

You should have the following experiences and skills

  • Experience leading SaaS B2B sales and growth, preferrably in the K-12 edtech market
  • Ability to coach other managers to help them succeed
  • Exemplary leadership skills at all levels
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills

Requirements:

  • Travel - 15-20% - including company and department meetups approximately quarterly, leadership meetings, and customer visits.
