Position
As a Product Designer at CodeScience, you will be working on build teams to deliver experience design solutions based upon requirements from Product Owners. These solutions will mainly be based upon leveraging the standard Salesforce Platform and following the guidelines set forth by the Lightning Design System. In this position, you have a firm understanding of UX best practices, you are confident in creating and presenting design solutions to clients, and you will be learning how to leverage the Salesforce platform and Lightning Design System.

Duties & Responsibilities
Researching UX patterns and best practices
Maintain a strong familiarity with and adherence to CodeScience’s UX standards and best practices
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Create visual solutions for build team stories
Designing within the constraints of a defined design system (i.e. Salesforce Lightning Design System)
Learning and leveraging the Salesforce Platform
Presenting your work to clients
Work both independently and collaboratively with your team to deliver solutions that meet client expectations and fits the scope of the engagement
Record hours performed for each project on a daily basis
Proactively complete peer surveys to support the feedback process for individuals and continual craft mastery
Frequently utilize Trailhead and other Salesforce education tools to continually grow your skills
Earn Salesforce Certifications to support career advancement
Experience
Required
College degree
2 years of web, UX/UI or other relevant design experience
HTML/CSS experience
Basic understanding of a wide range of web technologies and design concepts (i.e. mobile first, progressive enhancement)
Proficient working with cloud based design applications (i.e. Sketch, Figma)
Proficiency in demoing to the client
Proficient with Jira or other project management tools
Understanding of truly Waterfall development teams. (ugh, I know)
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce
Professional Services experience
