Job Purpose:
The Support Manager is a part-time leadership role that is designed to provide additional flexibility and leadership towards fulfilling our Company Mission. Assists and supports the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager in the execution of the entire store’s operations; including generating sales through suggestive selling techniques, customer service, cleanliness, merchandising, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy/store standards. Oversees operation of entire store in absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, utilizing suggestive selling techniques, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services.
- Assist in vendor check-in, ordering, receiving of orders and merchandising enhancements by having properly stocked, faced and readily available products for our guests.
- Maintains site appearance standards keeping the stores looking terrific and taking exceptional care of our valued guests. Performs light maintenance duties as assigned. Helps ensure equipment is operating correctly and communicates when maintenance is need.
- Follows and complies with all health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe working practices.
- Train and coach team members as directed by the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.
- Works cash register, monitors shift cash and inventory control, and prepares shift reports.
- Responsible for the open/close of the store and leading the operation of the store in absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Completes daily paperwork reconciliation, cash reconciliation, ordering and food inventory, as needed.
- Follows Incident Reporting Instructions and reports any safety concerns or related incidents timely.
- Maintains professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code policy.
- Maintains professional communication and demeanor with vendors, team members and guests.
- Responsible and accountable for completion and execution of tasks for assigned shift.
- Cross trained in all retail and food service operations.
- Strong commitment to team work while being flexible and adaptable to change.
- Adheres to Federal, State, and local regulations and prohibits the sale of age restricted products to individuals under the minimum age requirement.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 1 year of leadership experience required, preferably in a retail, QSR, or convenience store environment.
- Ability to learn and utilize the store’s computer applications required.
- Exceptional customer service, superior relationship building, and strong leadership skills required.
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Flexible to work various shifts as needed to support the location, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Licensure/Certification:
- Serv Safe/Other State or County Certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
- Completes class C fuel operator training within 90 days.
