Job Title
COGNIZANT IS LOOKING FOR Desktop Support Engineer (onsite)
Location- Framingham, MA
Experience- 6-8 years
Skills:
·
· Prior experience in desktop support or related field -In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and software systems
· Proficient in computer operating systems such as Mac, Linux, and Windows
Responsibilities:
· Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.
· Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.
· Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions on installing applications.
· Conduct remote troubleshooting.
· Document the tickets with troubleshooting steps and resolve the incidents.
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
· Help create technical documentation and manuals (KA) for known issues
· Image and deploy Laptops/ Desktops/Tablets to end users.
· Asset Management (stock level check, tracking, receiving)
· Coordinating
